Located in the brand new Biotechnology, Science, and Engineering building (BSE 3.114) in the scenic southeast corner of UTSA's 1604 campus, the Computational Biology Initiative's core facility contains our staff offices and a small multi-purpose computer lab space. The lab is suitable for general computer use, with High Performance Computing cluster system, high-end workstations, etc.
As well as supporting the day to day computational needs of users, the room is also quite suitable for small workshops or software tutorials. CBI has recently purchased a state of the art multimedia projection system which will make the space even more attractive for meetings, classes, and other gatherings.
